Blulink and Reggio Emilia

Over the last 20 years, Blulink had the possibility of constantly widening its own professional range of intervention and developing its own park, from the "neighbours" of the industrial structure of Reggio Emilia, to the entire national territory, until reaching an international dimension with the recent implementations of its own systems in Korea and China.

The centre of gravity of this action remains the city of Reggio Emilia, where we are rooted.

Reggio Emilia, "provincia" par excellence, heart of the Emilian miracle, traditionally hospitable, that, apart from being renown for "Reggiano-Parmigiano" and the gastronomic culture of pork, has always been in the forefront over the last decades, always with a silent humility: from theatre to ballet, from libraries to music, to model schools for children, to services to citizens, to voluntary work. Present on national news for the celebrations of the Italian flag that was born here, and for the constant first place in the debated classification of Quality of Life, our city lives on successes as well as toils and contradictions.

The cultural contributions of the persons who built the Blulink business reality come also from far, from Germany and from different regions of Italy, and maybe this fact, integrating in the character of the land of Reggio Emilia, has helped in developing a wealth of viewpoints and opinions that we consider a value and that we try to guard jealously; we feel attached to this land also for this reason.

This is why our company thinks it natural to take part in some initiatives that improve the character and the environment of this natural and human territory, from mountain sports to aid centres.


If it is true that the company's mission is "solutions above all others", we think we cannot avoid trying to support and help the realities that make solidarity a tool for improving the society in which we live, and that help in the excellent actions for our city. During these years, we supported different kinds of realities: from aid interventions for extreme poverty (Reggio Terzo Mondo), to those related to children (Telefono Azzurro and Unicef), to treatment aids against addiction. Over the last three years, our company has been engaged in this last social theme through a close collaboration with the Association called "Centro Sociale Papa Giovanni XXIII".

The "Centro Sociale Papa Giovanni XXIII" Association, founded in 1977, is the first reality of Reggio Emilia born for welcoming and treating persons with problems related to addiction. Over the years, the interventions of the Association increased and, even if they continued focusing on our city and on the difficult situations, Drug rehabilitation centres were accompanied by other social projects including: prevention measures for teenagers, receiving immigrants, support for children with physical and family difficulties, treatment against addiction to gambling and social inclusion for people with no fixed abode.

The project called "Sostegno abitativo Il Ponte" was born for this people and Blulink decided to finance it last year. Il Ponte is a project for subjects whose strong personal and physical difficulties are accompanied by the complete absence of social networks and home; the purpose of the Association's project is to make itself responsible for receiving this people and offer them a temporary place where to live and be accompanied towards an autonomous social reintegration.
