This module deals with the relative Operating modes and corresponding effects – this is a bottom-up analysis: it methodically analyzes all the elements of a product or process identifying the possible faults and the way in which they are revealed, the ensuing effects, the causes, the countermeasures required to eliminate the causes or to increase the possibilities of revealing them.

Product FMEA analyzes the fault (degradation of characteristics) that may occur when using the product and their consequences, also in relation to the user’s safety.
